Pubg mobile h

Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) lit the planet unstoppable in 2017. It sold millions before it even left Early Access on Steam, and started the battle royale gaming craze we’re experiencing at this time. Not too long ago this FPS juggernaut landed on mobile.

In PUBG you play as a mercenary who parachutes, together with around 99 other players, onto an island. Once they land, players scavenge for weapons, ammo, armor, along with other supplies in a last-man-standing pubg mobile japanese voice
death match. The game’s map starts large, but quickly shrinks as the electrical storm round the island collapses into progressively smaller circles, forcing players together since the game proceeds.

It’s a fairly easy concept with plenty of room for complexity. You land on hawaiian isle with 99 people in support of your fists. Find a gun and grow within the circle. Last one standing wins. Is it worth playing? That’s that which you aim to discover with this PUBG Mobile review.

Features

The Mobile version of PUBG has pretty much full functionalities of the PC counterpart, with a few exceptions. The game only offers PUBG’s original map, Erangel – an abandoned, vaguely Eastern European 8km x 8km island. Everything in the PC version of the map – through the abandoned military base for the burned out nuclear power plant – has made it on the Mobile version with the game.

All the weapons, gear, and vehicles available when PUBG first exited Early Access are here too. The guns it’s added since are absent, out of the box the action’s second map, Miramar.

The game is completely free. You can login as the guest or with Facebook to experience. Gameplay and daily login rewards will earn your experience and battle points, which is often invested in crates that incorporate a random piece of clothing for the character. Unlike within the PC version, you don’t begin with any available clothing, but bothering least a pair of pants doesn’t take to much time.

The matchmaking works pretty quickly when queueing in squad, duo, or solo mode, though many from the options from the PC version are absent. Creating a private custom match doesn’t seem to be possible at this time. There’s a menu selection for setting up a “room,” however it definitely seems to be for creating chat rooms, as well as doesn’t apparently actually work yet.

I never had to attend long being matched using a squad, though connection issues were pretty common. Every team I used had at least one player disconnect with the outset from the game. I never ran into any connection issues when I played, but no less than one teammate was unresponsive in many games.

The game has built-in voice chat, which works, even though it feels as though most players just use their phone’s speaker for a mic. If the mic is for the bottom from the phone, as is common, it can lead to some pretty annoying extra noise when players’ palms rub against it.

Gameplay

It’s all well and good if PUBG Mobile faithfully recreates the area’s geography and lets you make use of all the guns and drive all the cars in the original game, if the controls aren’t around the task, everything falls apart.

To be clear: the controls in PUBG Mobile aren’t as good or accurate since the PC version. Duh.

The game uses virtual joysticks for player movement and camera control, as well as a big button which has a bullet around the right will shoot your gun. It’s a bit clumsy initially, but usually feels pretty fluid after a couple of games.

It’s just a little clumsy to start with, truly feels pretty fluid after a few games.

The game offers a few different control options to make everything feel a little better and get rid with the awkwardness of looking for buttons you can’t find by feel. A floating shoot button, which moves to wherever your thumb last touched, makes shooting as simple as tapping where your finger already is, as opposed to the need to reorient your hand to arrive at the spot that fires the gun. Items are automatically grabbed, sorted, and equipped in game, which significantly reduces some tedious menu management. The game also offers gyroscopic control options, which I’ve never enjoyed, however some rely on.

Even with those options, the overall game still feels a little clumsy. That clumsiness actually impacts what kinds of tactics and gameplay work. In the PC version, snipers could be pretty dominant. Erangel is a pretty available map, you will find long stretches of relatively even terrain dotted with hills. Finding a good vantage point to choose people off isn’t hard. The precision of an mouse and keyboard makes this easier still.

Fights in PUBG Mobile tend to be more oriented around mid- and close-range engagements. It’s tough to hit people really consistently far away in this game. It’s even harder when comprising bullet drop. Automatic weapons, in addition to shotguns, with their wider reticles, seem especially potent here.

Vehicles often play a bigger combat role too. In the PC version of PUBG, vehicles become a liability as the map gets smaller — they’re big, loud, and difficult to miss. In PUBG Mobile, they’re actually pretty an easy task to miss. A fast moving target being a jeep, especially with someone inside the passenger seat which has a gun, can simply ride throughout the perimeter of the circle and pick people off, even close to the end with the game.

Performance

What makes PUBG quite a good-looking game on PC is more or less missing inside the Mobile version. The lighting and particle effects that basically sell the action’s look supply been virtually stripped out, and in all likelihood rightly so. Those forms of elements may be pretty demanding for hardware. The result is a pretty bland-looking recreation. The terrain, characters, and weapons all look more or less exactly the same because the PC version, just with muddier, lower-resolution textures.

The game ran pretty steady in my LG G6, but it definitely had its fair share of hiccups. I wouldn’t recommend playing on anything much older than that. I tried loading the action on its minimum iOS option, the iPhone 5s, and yes it crashed before loading the main menu each and every time. I’d imagine Android phones of a similar age would struggle equally as much.

Regular gameplay ran fine most in the time. There were more often than not serious frame rate drops when parachuting down towards the island, but that’s not totally shocking. It cleared up the moment I landed, when the overall game don’t was required to render the whole island.

The audio is fairly awful. In most versions of PUBG, hearing the direction and level of noises like gunshots and footsteps is actually comparatively vital that you learning an enemy’s location. It’s a whole lot harder to see this info within the mobile version. Footsteps were especially loud and sounded just about a similar to me. Regardless of where they were, once someone was within 15 or 20 feet of me, it all sounded exactly the same. It all sounded bad too.

Conclusion

PUBG Mobile is fun, however it’s significantly less tense since it’s PC counterpart. The stakes feel lower, also it misses from a good deal of what makes the PC version in the game so special — In essence, it feels just a little hollow.
